Dr. Nadya Clarke, MD
Board- Certified Plastic Surgeon
Dr. Nadya Clarke was born and raised in Potomac, Maryland, the daughter of Jamaican born parents. Her mother, a dentist, and her father, an economist and real estate developer, instilled a sense of resilience, determination and excellence in all endeavors from an early age. In fact, since kindergarten, Dr. Clarke would proudly tell anyone who asked that she was going to be a neonatologist (newborn specialist) when she grew up.

In the tradition of Jamaica, Dr. Clarke excelled at track & field in both high school and college. Despite her exceptional talent on the track, it was her academic prowess that earner her a full scholarship to Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. There she majored in Psychology and Neuroscience and a Minored in Women’s Studies.
Dr. Clarke then attended Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA, after which she matched to the highly competitive 5-year General Surgery Residency at one of the best Medical Centers in the world, New York University Medical Center.
During her residency, Dr. Clarke dedicated an additional 2 years to Pediatric Craniofacial Plastic Surgery Research at the world renowned Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the University of Pennsylvania. She designed and executed several clinical studies during this research fellowship, as well as serving as a member of the Institutional Review Board at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Dr. Clarke went on to complete her Plastic Surgery Fellowship at Loyola University Medical Center, followed by additional Aesthetic Surgery Training at The Few Institute in Chicago, rounding out her 10 years of surgical education. Dr. Clarke is a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Outside of the office, Dr. Clarke is passionate about travel, especially learning about different cultures and places. She has visited over 37 countries thus far, and is excited to continue exploring the world with her husband and three young children. Her hobbies include reading, photography and spinning.

Dr. Clarke prides herself on developing genuine connections with her patients and enjoys taking the time to ensure that they are fully educated about all aspects of their care. Her core values are always to strive for excellence and act with compassion.
