What is a Facelift?

A facelift, also known as rhytidectomy, is a surgical procedure performed in plastic surgery to rejuvenate the face and reduce visible signs of aging. It is designed to address sagging facial skin, deep creases, and folds. It lifts and tightens the skin and reduces laxity in the lower face and neck.
